August, 2012 Rich Technology won the bidding of subway line 1 project under capitaland Xian.
The first phase construction of line 1 is 23.9km with 17 stations; the second phase is 17.4km. It is predicted to carry 514.3 thousand each day in 2013, 703.5 thousand in 2016 and 914.4 thousand in 2031.
According to Xi’an Subway office, the transport would increase a lot between Xi'an and Xianyang after the line 1 construction completed. It will widen city framework, disperse urban population to east and west suburbs.
