March, 2010 Rich Technology won the bidding of Mount Taishan project.
Mount Taishan is a mountain of historical and cultural significance located north of the city of Tai’an, in Shandong province, China. The tallest peak is the Jade Emperor Peak, which is commonly reported as 1545 meters. It is a tilted fault-block mountain with height increasing from the north to the south. It rises abruptly from the vast plain of central Shangdong, and is naturally endowed with many scenic sites. Culturally, Mount Taishan is one of the “Five Great Mountains”. It is associated with sunrise, birth, and renewal, and is often regarded the foremost of the five. It has been a place of worship for at least 3000 years and served as one of the most important ceremonial centers of China during large portions of this period. The Temple of the God of Mount Taishan, known as the Dai Temple, is the largest and most complete ancient building complex in the area, forming a link from “man’s world” to “god’s world”.
